Jonathan Rickard - Week 6 Sketches

An unusual week of simultaneous productivity and burnout, as I think I set up too big of a project for myself in the brushwork homework. Near the end I was really gassing out, but even so at least I got that done! For my sketches this week, I have:

The beginnings of a power ranking for my friend's Smash Brothers discord server. It is modeled after the museum in Animal Crossing, since the server adopted a strong Animal Crossing theme overall. A lot needs to be done but at least I have the foundation set.

More Taproots! This time, I'm practicing a new strategy that Jesse mentioned on how to convert line art drawings into paintings without doing it the horribly messy way that I used to do. I've still got a ways to go before it is done, but I got quite a bit done for the amount of time that I was able to work on this.

I'm liking this new method a lot more than my old one...

This week is going to be a busy one, but I feel hopeful about it!
