I wasn't sure if I was supposed to submit anything for this week, but I guess I will.
Made great progress on this the last two days I worked on it, including getting the trees and cattails stylized right (no more realistic plants and exaggerated buildings clashing!). I also got most of the wood grain and metal edged out and cleaned up, as well as a few additional elements polished so you can tell what is going on easier. I still have more things to make look right such as the gears and the bottom right part of the shack, but it's really starting to come together even as is. I could spend forever on it but I think after I get the glaring weaknesses worked out and then add the cast shadows and glows, I'm calling it done.
